A REFRESHINGLY DIFFERENT MYSTERY NOVEL

Fledgling sailor (and all around nice guy) Casey is delivering a sailboat to its owner in an Oakland marina, parking it next to the slip of a grizzled “Hell’s Angel” type. He gets a call the next morning from the guy, Smitty, causing him to rush down to the boat, only to find the owner on board…murdered. The two are arrested for the murder by a dirty cop with a vendetta against Smitty. Once out on bail, Smitty effectively kidnaps Casey and the two form an uneasy alliance — they each believe the other might be guilty — to try to solve the murder and prove their innocence – all with the help of Smitty’s gang and his gorgeous daughter. Murder, kidnappings, blackmail, dirty politics, dirty cops, surprise team-ups, and a phony movie shoot, plus lots of twists and turns, make CASEY’S SLIP a fast read with lots of action. Whoever thought of motorcycle club members as detectives, anyway!
