During the Republican Primary back in February, conservative figure Grover Norquist sketched out what he was looking for in a candidate:
"We don't need a president to tell us in what direction to go. We know what direction to go. We want the Ryan budget . . . We just need a president to sign this stuff . . . Pick a Republican with enough working digits to handle a pen to become president of the United States." Probable letter from Republican Party to Norquist???? Hey Grover: We got him! Exactly what you asked for. Names Romney. Plus we got two of 'em. A back up named Ryan. Can you believe it, they call this guy Romney the etch-a-sketch candidate 'cause he does whatever he's told to do. Should be a snap to dominate. Signed: The tea party, (formerly known as the Republican Party.) Richard Wren
